23.08. This day we will spend on the road to the foot of the volcanoes of central Kamchatka. Fr om Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, we will go to the village of Kozyrevsk, located 500 kilometers north on the bank of the Kamchatka River. In the village, we will transfer to a prepared SUV, which will take us to the beginning of our route — Mount Hoof. Fr om here we will see for the first time the highest volcanoes of Kamchatka — Kamen and Klyuchevskoy.

24.08. On this day, we will go to the volcano on a path among mountain meadows, which are periodically replaced by fields of ash. We will stop for lunch at the Studenoy River, wh ere we will walk along the bottom of the world-famous ten-meter canyon. In the evening we will come to the parking lot “Key”.

25.08. In the first half of the day, we climb the grassy hills to Lake Bogdanovicha, fr om wh ere we will go to the tongue of the Bogdanovich Glacier through grassy hills, moraines. next, our path will pass through the language of the bogdanovich glacier, covered with ash. Along the way, we are waiting for streams and waterfalls formed as a result of the melting of the glacier, as well as mountains of volcanic ash.

26.08. This day we will walk along the Bogdanovich Glacier, gradually getting used to the altitude. the glacier is fraught with many cracks covered with snow, so we will go in bundles. on this day, we will go to the plateau of little antarctica, which lies between four volcanoes. this place gives rise to the largest glaciers in russia — bogdanovich in the south and erman in the north. The height of the plateau is 2700 meters above sea level.

27.08. Ascent to the Ushkovsky volcano (3903 m) on the south-eastern slope (4057 m). This climb has a difficulty category of 2A. first, there is an ascent along the rock-scree slopes to the ice dome. Then the group climbs to the top of it. Lifting is carried out in bundles. From the top there is a magnificent view of the volcanoes Klyuchevskaya Sopka, Kamen, Tolbachik and. The descent takes place along the ascent path.

28.08. The transition to Klyuchevskoy volcano. On this day we cross the plateau of Little Antarctica. 29.08. Ascent to Klyuchevskaya sopka (4850 m). The earliest rise for the entire hike. The ascent to the top of Kamchatka takes about 13 hours. We have to gain about 1500 meters in height on the loose slopes. But on the top we are waiting for an incredible sight-the crater of a real active volcano.
