Elbrus, in which I fell in love!
Elbrus-it’s incredible! It was hard to get away from the greenery below and the delicious food, and I still crave it. Just being there is happiness. There is no weather, but a continuous kaleidoscope, and because of this the mountain is always different, every minute is different. The surprise was a very strong wind. Yes, it blows in the mountains. But to do so… it was the first time I had ever seen such a strong wind. But nothing, and in the end he was dealt with. Physically, there were no overstrain, Maxim so carefully organizes everything that I do not cease to be surprised by him and admire him. He acclimated us very well and led us very well. Led so, that this was all on forces. Quietly, evenly, without fuss and haste. Absolutely gorgeous was the radial transition to the top, and at the end of the climb we moved down from Elbrus on the Pope.
I have nothing to compare it with, but the mountain is completely different from the Altai mountains. It’s as if she’s alone there, the other ridges just get lost in the background. Elbrus dominates everything there. Well, it feels like it, too. the height of more than 5 thousand for us was the first. I thought we felt good all the time. But then, when I remembered and analyzed everything, I realized that I was actually like a man with a dust bag. This, too, was a new feeling for me, and if we were to rise to such a height again, I would understand and try to control it.
